  4. 1. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
  5. Color Pilot is specifically designed for the easy and natural color 
  6. correction of digital camera or scanned photo images. An image can 
  7. be improved by simply selecting a color to be changed, and then 
  8. selecting a reference color (from the same or a different image) to 
  9. correct it. Reference color choice palettes can be saved for easy 
  10. retrieval and later use, also allowing for color matching of multiple 
  11. image sets. The Panorama function allows you to glue your images
  12. containing, e.g., various parts of some landscape. The software is
  13. easily mastered, and includes built-in color correction examples.

  17. Distinctions from version 3.0:
  18.  - version 3.6 has built-in examples of color correction in Color Pilot
  19.    which help you to easy master the program and color correction 
  20.    techniques (these examples emulate user's actions).

  23.  - some bugs in examples which used to appear in some screen modes 
  24.    are fixed;
  25.  - wrong display of collection colors in the collection in Windows 98
  26.    is fixed.

  32. Color Pilot can show itself with the help of self-showing built-in 
  33. examples. You can run an example from the Examples menu.
